The studio where I do my work is really a glorified garage. When we bought the home, this was a converted space with a Pablo Neruda quote about libraries on the wall. It was painted powder blue. For many years, it was where I would store and tinker with things... drums, guitar, painting, working... It was also either affectionately or teasingly referred to as the “ladies' library.” But a few years ago, my daughter and I busted a giant opening in one of the walls to bring in more light... it just gave the mosquitoes easy access. Earlier this year, my daughter and I painted the studio white (mostly) and tried to make it a workable art space. The problem I have is that whenever I work on something, things seem to explode. The bench I do these electronics on probably has a working space of two feet by two feet. I really need to get better at organization.
